| TERMINALS | Terminals are made from soft electrolytic copper tube. |
| WIRE CONSTRUCTION | This is made from 0.05 mm2 electrolytic grade copper wire each bunch of herringbone construction to reduce the rate of wire fracture by providing lateral surface wear areas. Its total sectional area shall not be less than the appropriate sectional area per MCM/mm2 rating. |
| WIRE
CONNECTION TO TERMINALS |
Wires are brazed and crimped in the soft electrolytic copper tube. Wire cannot melt out during brief overloads. |
| FLEXIBLE COVER | A loosely fitting rubber impregnated sheath encases most cable styles for mechanical protection. |
| OPTIONAL FEATURES : | |
| SPRING FOR COOLING | A loosely wound hollow spring core runs down the cable’s length. Forced air is metered into this cooling core through a port in one of the cable terminals. The resultant cooling effect greatly increases cable life. |
| PROTECTION SLEEVES | In order to eliminate breakage of strands due to the frequent accute bending operations, protection sleeves are, provided on the areas of both the terminal joints. |
